Volunteering and research projects
You can volunteer at the La Cordata centre in Kosovo at any time.
Prerequisite: You must be at least 18 years old, motivated and ready to get involved in the intensive life at the community centre. To find out whether a placement is suitable for you, you may first go on a taster week.
You can get more information from: Ruedi Beck (ruedi.beck@kathluzern.ch), St. Leodegar Catholic Parish Office, 6006 Lucerne.
Volunteer work and individual or group visits
Individual or group visits, including family visits, can be organised for people who want to support the project while exposing themselves to a fulfilling and valuable life experience.
Research projects
Students who wish to work on social, anthropological or ethnographic projects can live at the house in Leskoz and collect valuable data by visiting the families together with the social workers of La Cordata.
For more information get in contact with: Jasmina Finelli (jasmina.finelli@gmail.com)
Volunteers from Italy have been involved for 25 years and have been joined by volunteers from Switzerland for 15 years. Every year in the week of Ash Wednesday (February), a group from Switzerland travels together to the La Cordata community centre. This is a good opportunity to get to know the centre.
